Why we exist

The Foundation for Peace, Hope and Conflict Management was born out of a desire to take a humanitarian, non-governmental approach to finding holistic, unbiased, innovative and lasting remedies to violent conflict across the nation.
We recognise that a wholesome solution to conflict must first attend to the primordial factors that cause it. So our approach goes beyond mediation: we improve livelihoods, create equal opportunity for people regardless of gender, tribe or religion, and contribute our quota to protecting local and global ecosystems.
Our mission
To build a peaceful society, free of violence, unjust social structures and mutual suspicion among tribes, religions and ethnic groups — while creating structures for human capital development and environmental protection.
Our objective
To strengthen peaceful coexistence through conflict transformation, socioeconomic development, good governance, environmental protection, human rights and social justice.

- September 2019Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja.
- 2020COVID-19 palliatives for the less privileged in Wukari, and NDOM2020 TV advocacy with Global Rights.
- Humanitarian reliefVisibility and relief support to the IDP camp in Mutum-Biyu.
- August 2020Women Interstate Peacebuilding Initiative trains 50 women from Benue and Taraba in Abuja.
- Zero Illiteracy ProjectBooks donated to universities and schools across Taraba State.
- With UNDP & KAICIIDSocial stability and inter-religious dialogue projects reach about 400 people in Wukari, Ukum and Takum.
- October 2023Two-day peace education workshop for youths at the Federal University, Wukari.
- December 2025The Diamond Project reaches widows, the less privileged and hospital patients.
